- Hi. We are having a fundraiser prize bingo on June 27, 2012 at Fortune Community Centre at 7 p.m. to help raise money to help pay for a Snoezlen Room for the Harborview Training Centre which is a training centre for people with intellectual disabilities in Souris. The Snoezlen Room is a room specially designed for people with autism and other developmental disabilities, dementia, brain injury. It is a Multi-Sensory enviroment that helps individuals;it adapts their responses to sensory stimulation. The room includes a variety of mats, cushions, textures, bubble tubes and fibre optics for stimulation. We at MacIntyre House, which is a Group Home for Adults work, very closely with the Harbourview Training Centre and this is our contribution to organize the bingo to help with the costs of buying the equipment. I would like to know if CFCY would help promote the event that night with having the CFCY cruiser here,.
