Oral Presentation. Every week, you will be assigned an oral presentation. Students can choose between a “Show and Tell” and an “Issue Presentation”. You should discuss your topic presentation with your instructor prior to the presentation.

a. “Show and Tell”: The student will choose an item belonging to the culture of any Spanish speaking country and research the chosen item using Spanish sources. On the assigned day the student will bring the item to class and describe it, the student will explain why she/he thinks it is important for us to know about this particular item.

b. “Issue presentation”: The student will use Spanish newspapers and/or sources to research an issue of interest that affects a Spanish speaking country or region. The student will give a short oral report on the chosen issue, explain why it is important, and give her/his take on the issue.
