We are peacefully encamped here at Liberty Plaza (formerly Zuccotti Park) here in NYC. We have been here for 9 days now, forming working groups and meeting in General Assemblies to synthesize and form a consensus around our demands.

 

A number of celebrities and public figures have spoken out in support of us. A short list includes: Lupe Fiasco (rapper, @lupefiasco), Immortal Technique (rapper, @immortaltech), Amy Goodman, Michael Moore, Anne-Marie Slaughter (Former State Dept. Policy Planner, @SlaughterAM), Stephen Colbert, etc...

 

How did the police react until now? I heard there where people arrested already? What where they charged for?
